Dr. Dima Hamed is a respiratory and sleep physician with dual training in general and acute care medicine as well as respiratory and sleep medicine. Trained at leading Australian hospitals, including John Hunter, Blacktown, and Royal North Shore, and completed her post-FRACP fellowship in sleep medicine at Prince of Wales Hospital. Dr Hamed practices at Nepean Hospital, Blue Mountains Hospital, and Nepean Private Hospital. Her skills include advanced procedures such as flexible bronchoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound-guided biopsies. She has an interest in a wide range of respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, airway diseases, interstitial lung disease, and sleep disorders, with a particular focus on sleep apnea and complex sleep cases.
